NOTICE TO PUBLIC AND PRESS

The Granville County Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Granville County Expo Center, 4185 US-15, Oxford, NC 27565.

Members of the public are invited to view the open session via livestream. To join the livestream meeting, please use the following link: https://live.myvrspot.com/st?cid=MDhkZj.

Public comments for this meeting can be made in person at the Board Meeting, or in writing by using the following link: https://tinyurl.com/y37evl6z Comments made using the link must be submitted between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on December 2, 2025. A copy will be distributed to the Board of Education members. A maximum of 30 minutes in total will be allotted for public comment.

Metal Detectors will be in use upon entry to the building. No bags will be permitted in the building.

Dear Families,

We invite you to review our School Improvement Team (SIT) Plan and share your feedback. Your input plays an important role in shaping our goals and ensuring we continue to meet the needs of all students.

Please take a few moments to review the plan and let us know your thoughts, suggestions, or questions. Your voice helps guide our efforts to create the best possible learning environment for every child.

How to Access the School Improvement Plan (SIP):
  1. Go to our school website: wes.gcs.k12.nc.us
  2. Click the “About Us” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Select “WES Title I Information.”
  4. Click on “School Improvement Plan.”
  5. Then choose “School Improvement Plan Executive Summary.”
Once you’ve reviewed the plan, please take a moment to share your thoughts by completing the School Improvement Plan Feedback Survey.
